With 40 years experience in residential real estate in the Washington Metro marketplace, Donna Evers takes great pride in her agents and their commitment to delivering extraordinary service to their clientele in the greater Washington Metro area. In 2017, Donna expanded her company’s services and scope by affiliating with Long & Foster, the leading brokerage firm in the greater Washington Metro area, as well as the leader in sales of $1,000,000+ properties in the area. With these added advantages, her dedicated sales associates are committed to providing the highest level of service with integrity and courtesy to their clients and fellow real estate professionals.
Donna grew up in Michigan, received a B.A. in English from the University of Michigan and later, an M.A. from the University of California at Irvine. She has lived in Chevy Chase, Maryland for the past 40 years, just blocks from the Uptown office. Her second home in Bluemont, Virginia, an hour from Washington in the midst of wineries, horse farms and historic villages, is the site of Donna’s award-winning Twin Oaks Tavern Winery. Donna also has an apartment in the 6th arrondissement in Paris, France. She has three grown children and three grandchildren, and her daughter, Andrea Evers, is an agent with Evers & Co.
Over the past several years Donna has renovated 28 properties, including two in France. She says the fun of renovating and redesigning houses far outweighs the frustrations. With years of experience in successfully renovating and staging homes for sale, she has the expertise to advise her associates and their sellers so that they can realize the maximum gain in the sale of their property, as well as the know-how to advise buyers on how they can update and renovate the homes they purchase.
Most of all, Donna spends her boundless energy assisting the Evers & Co. agents in providing extraordinary service to their clientele and highly successful, collaborative experiences that are truly a level above expectations.
Donna has appeared frequently on television, radio and in print to discuss the Metro area real estate market. Donna has written extensively for various Washington DC publications, including articles about real estate trends and news, and stories about one of her favorite subjects, Washington DC history.
